Angel Barrientos, CRPS®

Senior Client Service Associate

With over 15 years of experience in client service, financial planning, and administrative management, Angel is dedicated to optimizing operational efficiency and delivering seamless client experiences. She began her career as a paralegal at a local law firm, which provided a strong foundation in attention to detail, compliance, and client advocacy—skills that seamlessly transitioned into the financial services industry. As a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ (CRPS®), she brings deep expertise in retirement plan services. Her background in client onboarding and operations ensures that every interaction is handled with precision and care. At Assembly, she thrives in a collaborative environment, valuing the strong sense of teamwork and the opportunity to work with thoughtful clients.

Outside the office, Angel finds joy in hiking, camping, tennis, and DIY projects, often turning to the trails for relaxation and rejuvenation. She cherishes time with family, whether exploring the outdoors together or enjoying simple moments at home. Angel embraces adventure, as seen in her travels to Costa Rica, where she pushed past fears through zip-lining, rafting, and crossing hanging bridges. If given the chance to live anywhere for a year, Italy would be her top pick—for its stunning landscapes, rich history, and incredible food.

Angel values resilience, efficiency, and innovation. Throughout her career, she has led impactful process improvements, enhanced client engagement through strategic events, and built high-performing team cultures. One of her most fulfilling professional moments was developing initiatives that strengthened team collaboration, directly enhancing client satisfaction and retention.

A strong advocate for giving back, she remains committed to causes that matter. A particularly meaningful experience was volunteering at the George Marks House, where she helped create a garden and a Zen space for children with serious medical conditions. Witnessing their excitement and joy was a humbling reminder of the power of small gestures in making a difference.
